Jo-Wilfried Tsonga won the 23rd BNP Paribas Masters tournament after an epic battle in the final against David Nalbandian. The Frenchman emerged victorious 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 after two hours of gripping tennis – a fitting conclusion to an exciting week.

MASTERS CUP: WINNER TAKES IT ALL!
Not only did Jo-Wilfried Tsonga win the 2008 BNP Paribas Masters, he also qualified for the year-ending ATP Tennis Masters Cup in doing so. Gilles Simon will be the injured reserve player at the tournament, while beaten finalist David Nalbandian has come up just short.
